New Coupon: $0.55/2 Hormel Chili products ($0.61 At Ultra Foods & $0.71 At Food4Less)

Woohoo!  That coupon for $0.55/2 Hormel Chili products is back!  It first appeared last week, but reached it's print limit within a few days. It's just in time for some sweet deals for Chicagoland readers:

• Ultra Foods has the Hormel Chili with Beans on sale for $0.88 (limit 6) through 2/1.  Use the coupon to get a couple cans for $0.61 each!
• Food4Less has the Hormel Chili with Beans for $0.98 as part of this week's mix & match sale through 1/31.  Use the coupon and get them for $0.71 each!

 

This is an essential ingredient in my family's favorite dip recipe, and I thought I'd share that with you Super Bowl coming up and all :)

• Spread a softened brick of cream cheese in the bottom of a shallow, microwaveable dish.  
• Empty the can of Hormel chili on top of the cream cheese.  You can use chili with or without beans.  
• Then, sprinkle half of an 8 oz bag of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chili.  
• Pop the dish in the microwave until the mozzarella cheese is melted...usually about 3 minutes.  Let it cool for a couple minutes and serve hot with tortilla chips :)  I've heard it also goes well with fritos.

I love making this dip for parties so you can bet I'll be stocking up on this Food4Less deal :)   Let me know if you try it. I know there are similar recipes out there that use cheddar cheese, but I think mozzarella is better :P
